Hot-vulcanized round cord rings are made from extruded round cord. After measuring to the required dimension, the connection point is cut and hot vulcanized. Thanks to special vulcanization mixtures, suitable for the respective material, the vulcanization point has almost the same chemical and thermal resistance as the elastomers used.

O-rings are therefore a cost-effective solution that is available at short notice for static applications instead of shaped rings.
